Q: Can anyone register for "86-Easy" service?
A: Any individual 1O1O customer who registered for service using a Hong Kong ID card can register for "86-Easy" service. Multi-user plan main number and sub-number/one-card-two-number service subscribers can also apply.
 
Q: How is the "86-Easy" service cycle calculated?
A: The monthly fee cycle is calculated in month.
 
Q: How do I pay for self-registration online?
A: The "86-Easy" service fee is included in the monthly bill. The bill display name is 86-易 /86-Easy.
 
Q: Any additional charge for "86-Easy" service?
A: If a customer is overseas, he/she needs to connect to a wireless data or international roaming network.
 
Q: Can the mainland mobile phone number assigned to "86-Easy" service be transferred to another network provider?
A: No.
 
Q: Can the mainland mobile phone number assigned to "86-Easy" service be changed?
A: No.
 
Q: How do I cancel "86-Easy" service?
A: Simply call our customer service hotline on 2888 1010.
 
Q: If a customer cancels "86-Easy" service, will the mainland mobile phone number assigned be deactivated at the same time?
A: Yes. If "86-Easy" service is cancelled, the mainland mobile phone number allocated to the customer will be deemed to be abandoned and the customer will not be able to access any messages. Users are therefore advised to back up data and records as a matter of routine.
 
Q: If I cancel then re-register, can I reuse the mainland mobile phone number assigned to my initial "86-Easy" service?
A: When "86-Easy" service is cancelled, the mainland mobile phone number allocated will generally be regarded as abandoned. If you re-register, the system will assign a mainland mobile number randomly.
 
Q: Could customers use an "86-Easy" China number when registering for WeChat encounter the following problems?
-The service provider may request additional information.
-Service providers need existing WeChat users to go through a new account registration process called "assisted authentication".
A: An "86-Easy" China number can register for WeChat, which may request the user to enter a name, mainland China ID number and mainland bank account information. Please contact the service provider for details.
 
Q: What can I do when registering for WeChat if the mobile phone number has been registered by another person?
A: Scenario 1: Select "Not mine, continue to register". In general, most people who have just changed their mobile phone number will choose "Not mine, continue to register". If registration is successful, the phone number and the account will be automatically unbundled before being recycled, then bound to your newly-registered micro-signal. If registration fails, you can call WeChat’s official customer service phone number 0755-83765566/0755-83767606 for help.
Scenario 2: The customer can choose one of two options if he/she selects "Yes, log in now".
 
Q: Do I need to insert the 1O1O SIM card to use the voice-calling function?
A: No. You only need a mobile network or Wi-Fi to make or receive calls via the 1O1O app.
 
Q: Do I need to enter a country code prefix when making a call?
A: No. You can enter the China mainland number directly.
 
Q: If message storage is full, can I still make a call via the service app?
A: The voice call function will not be affected, even if message storage is full.
 
Q: Can I use "86-Easy Plus" to make calls from mainland China to Hong Kong or overseas?
A: This option is not yet available.
 
Q: Why am I unable to send or receive MMS with 86-Easy?
A: The 86-Easy service does not currently support MMS.
 
Q: The mainland China bank/app requires me to show a real-name registration China-based number and activation proof. Where can I find such information?

Q: Which mobile phone models are compatible with 86-Easy?
A: The following mobile phone models are compatible with 86-Easy:
  • iPhone 8 or newer models that support iOS 16 or above.
  • Mobile phones that support Android operating system version 9.0 or above, and have Google Play and Google Mobile Services pre-installed. (For example, some of the Huawei models do not come with pre-installed Google Play and Google Mobile Services. These devices will not be able to use 86-Easy)

86-Easy Plus and 86-Easy Ultra value-added service Terms & Conditions:
 
  1. You are required to complete registration for 86-Easy, 86-Easy Plus and 86-Easy Ultra value-added service ("this Service") via the 1O1O mobile app ("Mobile App").
  2. When you subscribe and complete real-name registration to this Service, you will be randomly allocated a China mobile number ("PRC Mobile Number") with which to receive or send SMS, and receive and make outgoing voice calls via the 1O1O mobile app. This PRC Mobile Number cannot be ported-out to another mobile operator.
  3. You are required to subscribe to this Service by paying the relevant charge over a designated commitment period (if applicable). If you choose to terminate this Service before expiry of the commitment period, you will be required to pay an early termination charge equivalent to the sum of the monthly fees for this Service multiplied by the remaining months of your commitment period.
  4. This Service can be used only via your Mobile App.
  5. Maximum SMS storage for this Service on the Mobile App is 500. You are responsible for deleting and backing-up your SMS. We are not liable for any loss or irretrievable SMS.
  6. When this Service is terminated, the China PRC Mobile Number assigned will be deemed to be surrendered by you with immediate effect. Moreover, you will not be able to view or retrieve any SMS from the Mobile App. If the customer re-subscribes to this Service (including a service upgrade or degrade) within 30 days, the assigned PRC Mobile Number will remain unchanged.
  7. Customers can use mobile data or wireless Internet access to receive Short Message Service ("SMS") and send SMS to applicable service providers in mainland China and mobile numbers provided by mobile service providers in mainland China via the PRC Mobile Number on the mobile app. Applicable service providers in mainland China may be subject to change periodically. Customers will be able to receive and make outgoing voice calls using the PRC Mobile Number on the mobile app. The service portfolio contains specified usage. Once you have used up all the selected service combinations, you will no longer be able to use them. Generally, under the basic plan, customers may send SMS via the PRC Mobile Number every month. The service portfolio contains specified usage entitlement, which will be reset on the first day of each month. of this service.
  8. The Services Pack lasts one (1) month from the date of subscription. Once the monthly entitlement is reached, you may no longer send SMS via the PRC Mobile Number for the remainder of that month. Once inbox capacity is reached, you may no longer send SMS via the PRC Mobile Number.
  9. Each call's duration is rounded up to a full charge unit for computation purposes. Each full charge unit is based on a per minute airtime charge.
  10. The 86-Easy and 86-Easy Plus service combination contains a specified SMS send-out entitlement of 30, plus voice call minutes or minutes for receiving voice calls (Customer can decide on the combination in using the SMS and voice calls’ entitlement). The 86-Easy Ultra service combination contains a specified SMS send-out entitlement of 60, plus voice call minutes or minutes for receiving voice calls (Customer can decide on the combination in using the SMS and voice calls’ entitlement). Usage limit is one month from the date of subscription. The monthly entitlement will be reset on the first date of each month. Any remaining usage will be forfeited without any form of refund.
  11. 86-Easy package includes 100MB China and Macau Roaming Data, 86-Easy Plus package includes 1GB China and Macau Roaming Data, 86-Easy Ultra package includes 2GB China and Macau Roaming Data, for data usage in mainland China and Macau. Any unused usage cannot be carried forward to the next bill month and will be forfeited at the end of each bill month.
  12. 5G Data Roaming Service:5G Data Roaming Service is only applicable to 1O1O 5G service plan customers or 1O1O service plan customers who are enabled to access to 1O1O 5G network service. Customer must register and activate IDD, roaming service, data roaming day pass, and use designated compatible 5G device with specified system version in order to use 5G roaming in designated areas with designated networks.   13. 5G Data Roaming service may not completely cover all locations within the periphery, depending on performance of 5G networks run by local operators. Roaming service will automatically switch to 4G LTE, or other technologies, in locations not covered by a 5G network.
  14. lf customers have other mainland China Data Roaming Package (included shareable and non- shareable) and/or Greater China Data Roaming Package, data roaming usage in mainland China will be deducted from non-shareable mainland China Data Roaming Package first, then it will be deducted from this service, then it will be deducted from Greater China Data Roaming Package. After that, it will be deducted from shareable mainland China Data Roaming Package. Customer may choose use other Roaming Package (if any) or Data Roaming Day Pass for continued use of data roaming service (roaming charges apply).For service details and charges of Data Roaming Day Pass, visit http://1010.com.hk/e/datapass.
  15. This Service is available to selected personal account customers of 1O1O who have activated IDD. roaming service, Data Roaming Day Pass service and is subject to the Special Terms and Conditions of related services. Please visit http://1010.com.hk/e/datapass for details.
  16. Save and except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the company shall not be liable for any cost, claim, expense, damage or loss of whatsoever nature suffered, sustained or incurred by the customer or any person arising from, or out of, or relating to provision of the services, value-added services and/or service features offered under the services including without limitation (i) Any interruption or failure of the services, the value-added services and/or the service features, or (ii) Any failure, delay or mistake in establishing communication between the customer and any other person, or (iii) Any failure or delay while the customer is communicating any message when using the services; or (iv) Any failure or delay in activating or deactivating the services, or (v) Any unauthorized use of the customer's communication equipment.
  17. This service can only be used in mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau.
  18. Customers must log into the mobile app and make sure to turn on "Notifications" in "Settings".
  19. We reserve the right of final and binding determination in the event of dispute in relation to this Service.
  20. We reserve the right to amend these Terms & Conditions periodically.
  21. In the event of any discrepancies between Chinese and English versions, the English version shall prevail.

The above-mentioned Services carry a PRC Mobile Number provided by Zhejiang Lianlian Technology Company Limited ("Lianlian"). Lianlian is required under the law/regulations of the People’s Republic of China to collect identity information from users of PRC Mobile Numbers. So in order to receive a PRC Mobile Number, you are required to register your identity for the PRC Mobile Number below.
