How to activate and redeem

free iTravel Plus Travel Insurance

 

 

  1. Customer will be issued a confirmation SMS from HKT Care within 3 days after activating the designated service plans or value-added service plans

  2. Click the link in the SMS and access to HKT Care website, activate the package with the “activation code”

  3. Register as the Primary Insured Person to complete the activation

  4. To redeem travel insurance before the trip:
    Provide the travel period and traveler details including travel companion(s) (if applicable)

  5. Confirm application details to redeem the Travel Insurance

*The promotion is only applicable to eligible 1O1O/CSL individual customers who (a) subscribe to or re-new the designated i) C-Level Data Roaming Service Plan or ii) Data Roaming related Value-Added-Service of 24 or 36 months (as the case may be) as designated by 1O1O/CSL, (b) are aged 18 or above and (c) are holders of valid Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Identity Card (“Eligible Customers’)].

  1. "iTravel Plus Single Trip" travel insurance protection (“Travel Insurance”) is subject to the relevant terms and conditions, and the free iTravel Plus Travel Insurance (“Package”) is subject to the Package terms and conditions.   2. "Effective Period" means the period of 24 or 36 months (as applicable) from the date of HKT Care sending confirmation SMS to the Customer. The giveaway day(s) refers to the number of free days (e.g. 7 days, 10 days or 30 days) under the promotion of 1O1O/CSL’s designated C-Level Data Roaming Service Plan or Data Roaming related Value-Add-Service (“Giveaway Days”). Customers must use the Package within the Effective Period. The Travel Insurance under the Package is underwritten and provided by MSIG Insurance (Hong Kong) Limited (MSIG).
  3. Upon registration of the Package, customers will receive a SMS and an email confirmation from HKT Care. Please follow the instructions to activate the Package and register as the primary insured person. Before travelling, customers are required to register each of their trips and provide the personal details of each traveler in order to enjoy the Package.
  4. The Amateur Dangerous Sports And Activities Extension under Personal Accident Section and Medical Expenses Section will not be available to those Insured Persons who are over 70 years of age and other exclusions apply.
  5. 24-hour Worldwide Travel Assistance Services are available outside the Country of Residence. Country of Residence will be regarded as Hong Kong. 


    6. In case of any discrepancies between the Chinese and English versions, the English version shall prevail.
