Roaming service troubleshooting tips

 

Before travelling overseas, log into the 1O1O app and check roaming status. If you see then roaming service has not yet been activated. Simply contact one of our customer service reps to activate roaming.

 

If the 1O1O app shows roaming status as but you are still unable use the roaming facility, check the following mobile roaming settings to ensure seamless 5G connectivity.

 

 

 

Ensure you have selected a SIM card with data roaming capability

 

 

 

Check APN settings for data roaming on your phone

 

Incorrect APN settings on your phone suggest that the overseas network does not support data roaming.
The typical setting value is "Mobile".

1. Settings > Mobile Data

2. Select the correct SIM

3. Select mobile data network

4. Ensure the APN is set to "Mobile"

 

 

Make sure the data roaming option is enabled in your phone settings

 

1. Settings > Mobile Data

2. Select the correct SIM and mobile data network

3. Make sure mobile data roaming is enabled on your phone

 

 

Activate the roaming pass

 

1. Select “Roaming Service” in the 1O1O app

2. Select "Purchase Roaming Pass Package"

3. Choose your destination

4. Select “Buy Now”

5. Activate the roaming pass after pressing “Confirm”

How to activate free pass

1. Switch off “Airplane Mode” and switch on “Data Roaming” after service availability is announced.

2. Connect to the AeroMobile or OnAir network.

3. Click the free link in the SMS you receive to activate service.

4. Select Data Roaming Pass.

5. Confirm to use.

 

 

 

How to purchase & activate the pass

1. Switch off “Airplane Mode” and switch on “Data Roaming” after service availability is announced.

2. Connect to the AeroMobile or OnAir network.

3. Connect to the AeroMobile or OnAir network.

4. Select Data Roaming Pass.

5. Confirm to purchase and use.

 

 

 

 

In-flight Data Roaming Pass is charged per aircraft roaming network. If your journey involves 2 flights which are served by different aircraft roaming networks, you will be charged 2 Passes even within a day (24 hours upon usage).

Purchase and activate roaming pass

1. Open and log into the 1O1O app

2. Click on ✈️

3. Select “Purchase Roaming Pass Package”

4. Choose region where you wish to roam

5. Click on “Buy NOW” after selecting the package

6. Agree to the Terms & Conditions and click “Confirm”
Roaming passes will activate automatically on arrival at your destination

 

 

Ensure roaming setting is on

1. Click on “More” to check balance remaining

2. You can check remaining passes anytime, anywhere

3. You can also set “Sharing Preference ”
(applies only to multi-user sharing service customers)

4. Choose to “Turn sharing Data Roaming Pass on/off” here

 

 

Activate roaming pass

Remember to turn off programs such as Dropbox, iCloud and automatic app updates to avoid excessive use of roaming data before departure
