# This benefit is not applicable to any Insured Person’s Family who is aged below 18 at the time of the damage. For the purpose of the Protection Plan, "Insured Person's Family" means the Insured Person’s spouse, children, parents and relatives normally living with Insured Person at Home@.
 
% For the purpose of the Protection Plan, "Insured Person" means a person who presents an unique redemption code issued by the underwriter of the Protection Plan, MSIG Insurance (Hong Kong) Limited ("MSIG") and sent through 1O1O. Please refer to the relevant offer terms and conditions of 1O1O and the policy provisions of the Protection Plan.
 
+ "Home" means the premises in Hong Kong stated as the home or residential address of the Insured Person on the mobile service bill or statement (whether in paper or electronic form) issued by 1O1O to the Insured Person within 30 days prior to or from the date on which a cause for a claim by the Insured Person under the Protection Plan accrues. In addition, the Home must: (i) be the private dwelling, house, apartment or flat solely for domestic use, being constructed of bricks, stone and concrete, roofed with concrete, and is aged 50 years or below; (ii) not be a sub-divided flat, sub-let flat, a houseboat nor mobile home; and (iii) not contain illegal structures or unauthorized building works.
 
@ For the purpose of the Protection Plan, "Insured Person's Family" means the Insured Person’s spouse, children, parents and relatives normally living with Insured Person at Home.
 
1O1O’s Terms and Conditions for Complimentary Home Contents and Emergency Assistance Protection Plus Plan (the “Offer”):
  1. The Home Contents and Emergency Assistance Protection Plus (the “Protection Plan”) is underwritten and provided by MSIG Insurance (Hong Kong) Limited (“MSIG”), is arranged by HKT Care as the insurance agent of MSIG. HKT Care is a service brand operated by HKT Financial Services (IA) Limited (“HKTIA”). HKTIA, being registered licensed insurance agency under the Insurance Authority of Hong Kong (“IA”) (Licensed Insurance Agency License No.: FA2474), also acts as an appointed licensed insurance agent for MSIG HKTIA acts as the insurance intermediary to arrange for the Protection Plan and provide related services. HKTIA 's role is limited to arranging certain insurance policies of MSIG (including the Protection Plan) and HKT Care/HKTIA shall not be responsible for any matters in relation to the provision of such insurance products (including the Protection Plan). The Protection Plan is product and obligations of MSIG and not of HKT Care/HKTIA.
  2. 1O1O is a service brand operated by CSL Mobile Limited (“CSL”).  CSL is the policyholder ("Master Policy") of the Protection Plan and does not represent HKTIA.  CSL is not a licensed insurance company, licensed insurance agency or licensed insurance broker company or  licensed insurance  intermediary and is not carrying on any insurance activities or other regulated activities (as defined in the Insurance Ordinance) in respect of the Protection Plan or otherwise.  CSL has no involvement in the provision, distribution or arrangement of the Protection Plan.
  3. This Offer is valid from 20 September 2023 to 30 June 2024, both dates inclusive (the “Promotion Period”).
  4. To enjoy the Offer, you must:
    1. subscribe to or re-new  designated 5G service plan with a 24-month, 30-month or 36-month Commitment Period (the “Designated 5G service Plan(s)”);
    2. aged 18 or above;
    3. hold a valid Hong Kong Identity Card; and
    4. has a valid residential address in Hong Kong
  5. The Offer is subject to (i) HKT Care Special Terms and Conditions for Complimentary Home Contents and Emergency Assistance Protection Plus Plan https://www.hktcare.com/doc/pdf/HCEAP_TNC_EN_ONL.pdf, (ii) product brochure and (iii) policy provisions of the Protection Plan (collectively “Protection Plan Documents”).
  6. Please refer to the Protection Plan Documents for details of the benefits, coverage, exclusions, claim process and other terms and conditions of the Protection Plan https://www.hktcare.com/doc/pdf/HCEAP_TNC_EN_ONL.pdf (including but not limited to the details about the commencement and expiry of the Protection Plan, the definition of Insured Person’s Home and details about the Confirmation”).
  7. Unless otherwise stated, this Offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional or discount offer, and are non-transferable or exchangeable for cash or other products.
  8. If you terminate the 5G service plan before the expiry of the commitment period for the Service, CSL will charge you early termination charges, which are the sum of the monthly fees for the remaining months of the commitment period for the Service. The Service will terminate immediately when your Designated Mobile Plan is terminated by you or by CSL.
  9. CSL Mobile Limited (“CSL“) reserves the right to vary or cancel this offer and/or amend these Terms & Conditions at any time without notice.
  10. In the event of dispute, decisions made by CSL shall be final and binding.
  11. In the event of discrepancy or inconsistency between the English and Chinese versions of these Terms & Conditions, the English shall prevail.
