Elite Mobile Care (the “Protection”) is provided to you by HKT Financial Services (IA) Limited (“HKTIA”/ “HKT Care”), and underwritten by FWD General Insurance Company Limited (“FWDGI”) in accordance with its terms and conditions (“Protection Policy”).
To be eligible for the Protection, you must be a 1O1O personal customer subscribing to designated monthly mobile service plans (the “Eligible Plan(s)”).
The Protection is applicable only to Eligible Mobile Device. “Eligible Mobile Device(s)” means (i) designated mobile device models, (ii) purchased from 1O1O or a designated retailer within 60 days from activation of the Protection, and (iii) with official receipt issued by a designated retailer.
To enjoy the Protection, you must first activate the Protection via HKT Care. Upon successful subscription of an Eligible Plan, a short message (“SMS”) will be sent to your registered 1O1O mobile number with activation details.
In the activation process, you have to register your personal particulars and Eligible Mobile Device, which must be purchased within 60 calendar days from a designated retailer and the registration should be completed within 60 calendar days after the activation of the Eligible Plan or within 60 days after the purchase of the Eligible Mobile Device (whichever is earlier). Your registration information and Eligible Mobile Device, once registered, cannot be changed. You must confirm that the information you provide is true and accurate.
Upon successful activation of the Protection, the Protection takes effect until the expiry or early termination of the initial term of your Eligible Plan. You can enjoy up to 24 months of protection. Your entitlement under the Protection may be suspended if your Eligible Plan is suspended or restricted.
Please refer to the Protection Policy for details about the Protection, including but not limited to Eligible Mobile Device, coverage, claim procedure and etc.
The complimentary Protection cannot be transferred, returned nor redeemed for cash, and will not be applicable to any other existing policies or any policy conversions.
You understand and acknowledge that:-
HKTIA, a wholly owned subsidiary of HKT Limited (HKT Limited is a company incorporated in the Cayman Islands with limited liability), offering a wide range of life insurance and general insurance products under the brand of HKT Care. HKTIA (License No.: FA2474) being registered with the Insurance Authority of Hong Kong (“IA”) as a licensed insurance agency, acts as an appointed licensed insurance agent for FWDGI to arrange for the Protection and provide related services.
CSL Mobile Limited (“CSL”) is the policy holder of the Protection and does not represent HKTIA. CSL has no involvement in arrangement of the Protection.
You further agree and acknowledge that CSL makes no representation or guarantee as to any aspects of the Protection and accepts no responsibility and liability for any matters arising from or in relation to the same.
CSL shall not be responsible for any disputes in relation to HKT Care. In case of any enquiries, please contact HKT Care Customer Service Hotline at 8209 0098.
In the event of any discrepancies between the Chinese and English versions of these Terms and Conditions, the English version shall prevail.
