KingKing Service is only available to 1O1O subscribers and is provided to you under the terms and conditions of your mobile service contract. The Special Conditions for KingKing Service as set out below also apply.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS FOR KINGKING SERVICE ("KingKing Service")


1. Service availability
You agree that:
  1. the KingKing Service is provided by Hong Kong Telecommunications (HKT) Limited (“we”, “us” or “our”) and is available for use while you are abroad or in Hong Kong using the mobile Service provided by CSL Mobile Limited (香港移動通訊有限公司)(“1O1O”) and compatible handsets specified by 1O1O
  2. you shall arrange for mobile data or Wi-Fi connectivity services provided for connection to the KingKing Service and be responsible for the charges for such services. It is your responsibility to ensure that you logged in Wi-Fi properly;
  3. the KingKing Service may not be available at every Wi-Fi hotspots;
  4. the KingKing Service can be used to make emergency calls or send emergency SMS messages (only for whom have registered for the emergency SMS service) in Hong Kong, but it should not be used to make any emergency calls or send emergency SMS to a local emergency centre while you are abroad;
  5. the quality and provisioning of the KingKing Service depends on the reliability and stability of Internet which may be out of our control;
  6. the KingKing Service cannot be used to access the chargeable 900 information services provided by the telecommunications operators in Hong Kong;
  7. If you use KingKing Service to send SMS, the related charges will be calculated based on the SMS service (including intra-network/inter-network/international) provided by us as you are in Hong Kong.
  8. if you use the KingKing Service and dial an international number with “+” prefix, IDD 001 service provided by us will be used;
  9. you are required to pay for the IDD or international roaming services provided by us or any other telecommunications service providers for the use of such IDD services or international roaming together with KingKing Service; and
  10. the KingKing Service shall not be used to carry any third party traffic in Hong Kong or abroad to bypass local access charges and/or mobile access charges.

2. Day pass and additional charges
2.1 2.1 KingKing Service allows you to (i) make voice calls to any Hong Kong phone number; or (ii) receive voice calls using the KingKing Service; or (iii) send SMS via KingKing Service while you are in Hong Kong or overseas. If you have subscribed to designated Service Plan, we shall charge you HK$8 daily for your use of the KingKing Service from 00:00 to 23: 59 HK time during the day (Hong Kong time). KingKing day pass charges will only occur while user has KingKing usage. If you have subscribed to other than the designated Service Plan, we shall not charge you any KingKing service charges. However, you shall pay the charges for the Wi-Fi or mobile data connectivity service, IDD and/or international roaming services (if any).
2.2 If you use the KingKing Service to make voice calls while you are (a) abroad and using the Wi-Fi network provided by an overseas operator ("Overseas Wi-Fi Network") to access the KingKing Service; or (b)abroad and using the roaming mobile data service; or (c) in Hong Kong using an overseas mobile network tethering, to:
  1. a local phone number in the overseas country or region where you use the KingKing Service ("Local Phone Number"); or
  2. any other phone numbers (not being a Local Phone Number) in any places other than Hong Kong,
you are required to pay (i) the IDD services or international roaming provided by us or any other telecommunications service providers; and (ii) the local voice call ("Voice Call") charged by 1O1O. Your use of our IDD services or international roaming shall be governed by the applicable terms and conditions specified by us. You agree that we can authorise 1O1O to collect such IDD or international roaming charges from you.
2.3 If you use the KingKing Service using the Wi-Fi network or mobile data service provided by a telecommunications operator in Hong Kong to make phone calls to:
  1. a Hong Kong telephone number or receive phone calls, you are not required to pay 1O1O the local Voice Call charges for such calls; or
  2. an overseas telephone number, you are required to pay (i) the IDD services provided by us or any other telecommunication service providers; and (ii) the local Voice Call charged by 1O1O.
3. Privacy
For the 1O1O number that you use for the KingKing Service, we shall use such 1O1O number for (i) verifying your eligibility for the KingKing Service; and (ii) the billing of your use of the KingKing Service in the corresponding 1O1O account by 1O1O.

4. Software
4.1 If you do not accept the terms and conditions for KingKing Service, you shall not use the software for KingKing Service ("Software"). If you choose to download, install and/or use the Software for use with the KingKing Service, you are treated to have accepted the General Conditions of Telecommunications Service (Consumer Customers) ("General Conditions" which can be found at www.1010.com.hk) and any other terms and conditions specified by us from time to time (collectively, "Applicable Terms and Conditions") and be bound by them.
4.2 For the use of the KingKing Service, we shall grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, non-perpetual ,revocable and subject to payment licence for you to download, install and/or use the Software only for your personal use in accordance with the Applicable Terms and Conditions. Commercial use of the Software is strictly prohibited. Except for the limited rights granted, no other licences, rights or interests relating to the Software shall be granted by us to you.
4.3 You agree that the Software (including any change, improvement, update, replacement and derivative works relating to the Software) is and shall remain as our property. You shall not and shall not permit any other person to copy, reproduce, change, tamper with, distribute or sell the Software.
4.4 We have no obligation to change, improve, update or replace the Software.
4.5 You shall download, install or otherwise use the Software at your own risk. We exclude any loss, damage, liability or penalty which includes but not limited to loss of profit, loss of business, loss of anticipated savings, loss of or corruption of data and or any indirect, consequential or special loss or damage incurred by you whether it is reasonably foreseeable. The Software is provided on an "as-is" basis without warranty of any kind. We specially disclaim all warranties and representations, express or implied, with respect to the Software (including, any warranty of title or non-infringement, or, any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose).
