Protection Powered by Samsung Care Services (the “Services”) Terms and Conditions
 
  1. HKT Protection Powered by Samsung Care Services (the “Services”) is provided by a member of the HKT Group (being HKT Limited and its subsidiaries, which may include, but not limited to, Hong Kong Telecommunications (HKT) Limited, CSL Mobile Limited ("Company," or "we", or “us”). The Company has arranged Bolttech Device Protection Hong Kong Limited ("bolttech") as its service provider to manage and deliver the Service.
  2. Existing csl / 1O1O customers owning below designated Samsung Galaxy device (“Designated Device”) purchased from HKT and opting for this service. Monthly fee (i) HK$18, applicable to Samsung Galaxy A/M/FE/XCover series device, (ii) HK$38, applicable to Samsung Galaxy S series device, (iii) HK$45, applicable to Samsung Galaxy Z Flip device and (iv) HK$68, applicable to Samsung Galaxy Z Fold device, with commitment period of 24-month or above. Relevant plan fees will be added to csl / 1O1O mobile bill. After the Commitment Period, the Services will be automatically renewed on a monthly basis at HK$18 or HK$38 or HK$45 or HK$68 until customers provide us 30 days prior notice to cancel.
  3. Customer must pay us early termination fee if customer terminates the service before expiry of the commitment period, which shall be the sum of the monthly plan fee for the remaining months of the commitment period.
  4. Application for the Service is subject to approval by Samsung Electronics HK Co. Limited (“Samsung”).
  5. The Service allows you to during the Service period
    1. Up to 2 times incidence of accidental damage protection in each rolling 12-month period: When repairing your Designated Device, you need to pay a “Screen Damage Deductible” each time for screen repairs, and an “Other Accidental Damage and Liquid Damage Deductible” each time for other accidental damage repairs (including device replacement if device is irreparable).

      Accidental damage from handling (ADH) group insurance policy coverage provided by Bolttech Insurance (Hong Kong) Company Limited to Hong Kong Telecommunications (HKT) Limited as the policy holder, for the benefit of the customers, who will be automatically enrolled free of charge as insured members to enjoy accidental and liquid damage protection to their devices.
    2. Up to 1 time switch service in each rolling 12-month period: no questions asked, you need to pay a switch fee of 35% of the original suggested retail price of your Designated Device, switch the Designated Device to a replacement device (“Replacement Device”). Terms and conditions apply.
  6. Please refer to https://hkt-protection.bolttech.hk/hk/en/swap for the number of device switch you are entitled to during each 12-month rolling period during the Service period, and terms and conditions about this service.
  7. The Replacement Device is supplied and delivered to you by bolttech. CSL Mobile Limited (“CSL”) expressly disclaims any warranties or representations of any kind in relation to the Replacement Device (whether express or implied).
  8. If you do not hand in or are unable to hand in your Designated Device or fail to comply with the Terms and Conditions, bolttech will charge you 65% of the SRP in addition to the Switch Fee (“Additional Charge”). The failure to comply with the Terms and Conditions, including but not limited to the below situations, will result in the Additional Charge:
    1. Failure to return the Designated Device; or
    2. The device returned is not the Designated Device, i.e. the same device that was registered at the time of application; or
    3. The IMEI of the returned device cannot be identified.
    Bolttech may take a hold on your credit card at the time of the switch for the purposes of such Additional Charge.
  9. The Replacement Device means an Samsung manufactured genuine device which is comprised of new and/or previously used genuine Samsung parts that have been tested and pass Samsung functional requirements or a mobile device obtained by a switch service, and it shall be deemed the new registered device after being delivered to the Customer, but as compared to the original registered device, it can be either:
    1. Of identical brand, model, color and memory capacity (“Like-for-Identical”)
    2. Of identical brand, model and memory capacity, but of different color (“Like-for-Like”)
    3. Has a different IMEI;
    4. Is not provided in Samsung's original packaging; and
    5. Does not include any Device Accessories
  10. In case of any enquiry or dispute about the Service, please contact bolttech live chat at service portal https://hkt-protection.bolttech.hk/hk/en/swap (Office hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm; excluding Saturday, Sundays and public holidays) or email to device.support@bolttech.hk.
  11. The General Terms and Conditions of CSL apply https://www.hkcsl.com/en/service-terms-and-conditions/ to the relationship between CSL and you in respect of the Designated Mobile Plan and the Service.
  12. CSL reserves the right to change or terminate the Service and amend all related terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. In case of any dispute, the decision of CSL shall be final and conclusive.
  13. In the event of any discrepancies between the Chinese and English versions of these terms and conditions, the English version shall prevail.

  1. HKT Protection Powered by Samsung Care Services (「服務」) 由香港電訊集團的成員提供(包括香港電訊(HKT)有限本公司及其子本公司,可能包括但不限於香港電訊(HKT)有限本公司,CSL Mobile Limited( “本公司” 、“CSL”或 “我們” ),並委任Bolttech Device Protection Hong Kong Limited (“bolttech”) 作為其服務供應商來管理和提供服務。
  2. 服務只適用於現有 csl / 1O1O客戶於 HKT 購買指定下列型號Samsung Galaxy型號手機 (「指定裝置」)並於 30 日內選用此服務,每月收費 (i) HK$18,適用於Samsung Galaxy A/M/FE/XCover系列手機;(ii) HK$38,適用於Samsung Galaxy S系列手機;(iii) HK$45,適用於Samsung Galaxy Z Flip系列手機及(iv) HK$68,適用於Samsung Galaxy Z Fold系列手機,須簽訂 24 個月或以上承諾期,此服務之收費將於 csl / 1O1O 賬單內收取。承諾期結束後,服務將以月費HK$18或HK$38或HK$45或HK$68按月自動續期,直至客戶於最少 30 日前通知我們要求取消此服務。
  3. 如客戶於承諾期屆滿前終止此服務,客戶須向我們繳付提早終止費用,其為承諾期所剩餘月份之所有服務月費總額。
  4. 此服務的申請須經過三星電子香港有限公司(“Samsung”)審批。
  5. 透過此服務,你可以在服務期內
    1. 一年兩次意外損壞保障:為你的指定裝置每次進行螢幕維修時,你需支付「螢幕損壞自負額」;每次進行其他意外損壞的維修時,你需支付「其他意外及入水損壞自負額」(包括如果裝置無法修復需整部機更換)。

      此意外損壞保障由免費意外及入水損壞保險提供,由保特保險(香港)有限公司提供給香港電訊有限公司的因使用而導致意外損壞的團體保險。香港電訊有限公司作為保單持有人,為客戶自動註冊成為受保會員令他們的Samsung Galaxy 手機型號可享此保障服務。
    2. 一年一次換機服務:無須理由,每次需支付申請服務時註冊裝置建議零售價35%為換機費,將指定裝置更換成更換裝置(「更換裝置」)。服務受條款及細則約束。

  7. 你的更換裝置是由 bolttech 提供及送遞。香港移動通訊有限公司(“CSL”)不會對替代裝置作任何陳述及保證(不論明示或暗示)。
  8. 如閣下未有交回或無法交回閣下的指定裝置或未能遵守本條款及細則,bolttech 將在手機更換費以外,向閣下收取建議零售價的 65% 作為額外收費。未能遵守本條款及細則(包括但不限於以下情況)將導致產生額外收費:
    1. 未有交回指定裝置;或
    2. 所交回的裝置並非指定裝置,即並非於申請時登記的同一部裝置;或
    3. 無法識別所交回裝置的 IMEI。
    對於有關額外收費,bolttech 有機會在換機時要求你作出信用卡預授權。
  9. 更換裝置是指由Samsung製造的真品裝置,該裝置可以是由全新和/或先前使用過的真品Samsung零件組成,這些零件已經過測試並符合Samsung的功能要求,或是通過裝置更換服務獲得的行動裝置,並在交付給客戶後被視為新的註冊裝置,但與原始註冊裝置相比,它可以是:
    1. 相同品牌、型號、顏色和記憶體容量(「相同型號」)
    2. 相同品牌、型號和記憶體容量,但顏色不同(「同等型號」)
    3. 有不同的 IMEI;
    4. 不在 Samsung 的原包裝中提供;
    5. 以及不包括任何裝置配件

  13. 如中、英文兩個版本有任何抵觸或不相符之處,應以英文版本為準。
