What is VoLTE?
1O1O is proud to present you VoLTE, which brings voice call and video call to a brand new generation! VoLTE (Voice Over LTE) means connection of voice and video call through 4G LTE network. As a valuable 1O1O customer, you can now enjoy a FREE upgrade to experience voice call with speedy connection and video call with high quality!
Benefit of using VoLTE
1-second call connection
Make substantially faster voice-call connections. Effecting a traditional 3G call connection takes an average of 7 seconds, but can be done in just 1 second when using VoLTE.
Greater voice quality
VoLTE significantly enhances voice quality, especially with our expansive network coverage.
Simultaneous voice and high-speed date usage
You can use data for other functions while on a call – eg browsing or downloading an app. This capability enables you to multitask.
Seamless switching between VoLTE and VoWiFI
VoLTE has the ability to switch seamlessly between LTE and Wi-Fi calling, without your call dropping out.
12 times better video-call quality
Ensures high-definition video calling (applicable only to some Android handsets). A VoLTE connection provides clear picture quality without grids, because resolution is up to 640 x 480 pixels. As a comparison, resolution for 3G network video calls is just 176 x 144 pixels.
Seamless switching between voice and video calls, plus better battery life
Switch between a voice and video call instantly with just one click (applicable only to certain Android handsets), whereas switching from 3G to 4G involves a delay. A spin-off benefit is longer battery life.
Requirements to Use VoLTE
Use a VoLTE enabled handset
Have the handset softwareupgraded to latest version(Applicable to Android handsets)
Ensure that the VoLTE function is activated on your handset.
(Below are activation examples for different mobile phone series for reference. The settings of mobile phone may vary by brand, models, and software version. If you have any questions, please refer to the user manual of your handset model or contact the handset manufacturer)
* If your phone is running iPhones (iOS 14 or later) / Samsung (Android 12 or later) / SONY (Android 13 or later) / VIVO (Android 13 or later) / Nothing Series (Android 13 or later) / Honor (Android 13 or later), VoLTE is enabled by default, no further activation is required

Remarks:
- VoLTE service is only available under 4G LTE network coverage for intra-network calls or inter-network call between CTM Macau, with designated rate plans and handsets, and cannot be used in conjunction with certain types of service. Please call 2888 1010 for details.
- VVideo call is a chargeable service, irrespective of whether 3G or VoLTE has been activated. The standard charge of local video call: intra network – $1.5/min; other local operator – $2.5/min. Usage will be rounded up to the nearest minute. Customer in Hong Kong makes voice or video calls to CTM Macau numbers or makes IDD voice or video calls in Macau are subject to extra IDD charges.
- VoLTE Video call is only available when both users are using VoLTE service.
